America a Republic or a Corporation?

If you run a government like a corporation the only thing of significance is in fact the bottom line of maximizing cash-flow. Say - didn't that work back in the good-'ol days of slavery. Oh yea- we're going to have our own slave class, but they have a new title" guest workers."- and they're gonna pay taxes!
And... if your running the America like a corporation, then the president is offering a service to those that have paid for him to get his position........... Where is the Futurist Revolt?
